Dungannon Christmas Craft Fair 2017

Christmas Fair Craft Fair Discover Dungannon Dungannon

Christmas is soon approaching and as what to get our loved ones are on a lot of peoples minds, we at Tru Irish decided to leave our computer desks for once and allows the public to come set what we have to offer and get some much needed Christmas inspiration. And where better to get into the Christmas spirit than the Magical Christmas Kingdom at the Hill of The O Neill & Ranfurly House.

Claire arrived Friday morning on the 24th of November to set up the stall for the weekend ahead. She was joined in the Crafts Room in Ranfurly House Arts & Visitors Centre by fellow crafters of various talents such as wood work, Christmas decorations, candles, heraldry, healthy probiotic food & drinks, teddy bears and more. Such stalls included Heraldic Craft, Viv's Bears, Andreia's Crafts, Ulster Wildlife & Amberline Preserves just to name a few.

Friday's festivities soon kicked off that evening with the arrival of Santa Claus where kids and parents flocked to the Hill of O Neill to see the main man himself.
We returned Saturday morning and prepared ourselves again for the expected crowds of people to visit Dungannon. With the craft fair, 'Little World', Santa in his grotto, Santa's stables, live music and much more, there was something for all the family.
Sunday was our last day where the crowds flooded to finish the weekend on a high. Children had serious fun on the amusement rides and creating crafts and Christmas decorations at the crafts tables. Elves were aplenty as they walked around entertaining the children and posing for photographs. Parents were not left idle either as many adults were seen crafting alongside the kids and also shopping around at the various stalls, picking up some Christmas presents and ornaments.
