Hand forged to combine utility with unique design. Painted or with lacquer finish. These tongs are made using traditional forge methods e/g forge welds, rivet and shaping techniques.
Ideal For: Tongs are ideal for any fireplace. They are functional and ornamental.
Production: The tongs are made in my forge by time honoured techniques which results in an aesthetic product distinct from cast or fabricated types. They are finished comfortable to use with a light protective coat of paint or lacquer, and have my signature stamped on them.
Finish: The tongs can be made longer, and of stronger design to suit period fireplaces or heavier duties. They can also be made of wrought iron. There will be a price difference for variations. Contact me for more information. -

If you wish to return an unwanted item, you may do so once you notify us within 14 days of receipt of the order. You must provide notice of cancellation by emailing claire@truirish.com or by telephone call no later than 7 days after the receipt of goods. We will refund in full granted the order is returned in its original condition.
You will be liable for the cost of returning the goods and must ensure that it is returned in protective packaging. Refunds will be applied to the original method of payment that was used to purchase the item. Please note that certain items cannot be returned. This does not affect your statutory rights.
